- Check your background and clean it up a little so it’s not distracting the people you are chatting with. Nobody wants to see your dirty socks on the floor or a counter full of dishes.

Place your phone on a tripod or other secure place so that it’s at eye level and not below. Trust us, the up-the-nose angle isn’t flattering for anybody.
