"If your pictures aren't good enough, you aren't close enough” - Robert Capa
Photojournalist Robert Capa suggested that you use your feet to get in closer to your subject. This way you minimize lost space and your intent for the photo is clear.
This is especially a good concept to keep in mind when shooting with your smartphone. Phones don’t have the capability that zoom lenses have and using the zoom feature on your phone can sometimes create blur.
Also, getting in close to capture your subject can make your photo so much more creative and interesting.
Get in as close as you can and don’t forget to tap your screen where you want the focus to be.
